Project Overview

This large factory in Morrisett was dark with no natural light and it would get hot and stuffy as soon as the temperature rose.

The AWS Roofing team introduced more light into the factory by removing sections of existing metal roof sheeting and replacing it with Trimdek fibre glass roof sheeting in Opal.

All the newly installed polycarb sheets had wire mesh installed underneath them to comply with the current building codes.

The wire mesh helps to keep the sheeting in place if it is cracked or damaged as polycarb sheets do get brittle with age.

We also installed 20 whirlybirds which made an immediate difference with a cooler airflow through the building.
