Asbestos Roof Removal

The original structure was topped with an ageing asbestos cement sheet roof posing both safety concerns and poor thermal performance. Our licensed asbestos removal team began by safely spraying, vacuuming, and removing the hazardous material in accordance with NSW SafeWork regulations.
The site was fully cleared and certified safe before re-roofing began.

Roof Upgrade & Installation

Once the asbestos roof was removed, we upgraded the entire roofing framework:

• Installed new 40mm Zincalume roof battens to reinforce the substructure
• Added a 55mm R1.3 anti-condensation blanket to improve insulation and prevent condensation issues common in humid coastal climates
• Fitted a new .42 BMT Custom Orb corrugated metal roof, designed to handle high winds and intense rain typical of the Central Coast
• Finished with custom .55 BMT Colorbond flashings for long-term durability and protection
• Installed new High Front Quad guttering, seamlessly matched to the roofline

All components were finished in the sleek and modern Colorbond Monument, chosen by the client for its bold appearance and strong UV resistance.
